Experiences and Achievements in My Early Years, Prior to Reforming the FDA

My early experiences and achievements were largely in the athletic, the academic, and the leadership

My athletic experiences, awards, and achievements, included:

I was a five-sport athlete in high school and a two-sport athlete in college. The high school sports were:
football, baseball, basketball, swimming, and wrestling. The college sports were: football and baseball.  

I received the following honors:

  • Captain or Co-Captain or Game-Co-Captain of several teams in High School and in College

  • Second-Team All-League in High School Football

  • National Ranking in College Baseball. My potential professional baseball career was ended abruptly
    due to a serious football injury

  • All-East Ranking in College Football

My academic and/or leadership experiences, awards, and achievements, included:

  • Elected High School Class Vice-President and Student-Body Vice-President

  • Admitted to all five top colleges to which I applied

  • Elected College Fraternity President, college student-body representative and class officer,
    graduate school student-body representative and class officer

  • Graduated from college with a major in Economics, and minors in Political Science and Engineering

  • Admitted to Ivy League Graduate and Post-Graduate Schools in Law, Business, and Political
    Science, where I graduated with honors and high honors, including being elected the Editor-in-
    Chief of the International Law Review

  • Selected to be a member of the Academic Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi

  • Selected to receive a prestigious and extremely selective federal fellowship for three years in health
